Introducing Ruveyda Ozturk

Dear Sirius College community,

I would like to greet you all with a warm hello as we commence the 2019 education year. For the last seven years, I had been working in Sydney as a social sciences teacher while being actively involved in pastoral care services. I have recently moved to Melbourne and although it was difficult to leave behind friends and familiar settings, I have been met with a very welcoming and embracing atmosphere here at Sirius. I have enjoyed meeting all my colleagues and students, and look forward to great times ahead. I hope to get to know my students and their parents personally over time and to engage in positive and productive dialogues. I wish all of you a joyful and rewarding year.
